In response to positive feedback from the first Math Specialists in International Schools (MSIS) certification program, The Gate at SFS is excited to offer the MSIS Certificate Program again next academic year!  We are excited to welcome colleagues (virtually, at first) from other international schools!

The institutes will be run by Erma Anderson.  We plan on offering the 5 institutes required to obtain a certificate in the next two academic years.   The certificate program is designed for teachers of K-8 focusing on mathematics content specific to the K-8 AERO Mathematics Standards.  It consists of 5 institutes that enhance teacher understanding of mathematics, how students learn mathematics, and how to determine evidence of student understanding of mathematics.

We are in the process of collecting applications until August 23rd!

** Each institute can be taken individually if you are not interested in getting the certificate.
