Hello everyone,
Please mark your calendars and Save the Date to attend the 2022 Alumni Relations Job-Alike Meeting (JAM), sponsored by KORCOS and co-organized by Chadwick International (CI) and Seoul Foreign School (SFS) on February 23, 2022.
As a professional learning tool, Job-Alike Meetings provide an opportunity for professionals in similar positions to share their experiences, perspectives, and best practices.
This year, we will have another great keynote speaker, introduced to us by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE): Mark Sollis. Mark has worked throughout Canada, the UK, Australia, Asia, and more… He is now based in Asia as a global consultant and EdTech entrepreneur. Mark will provide great insights around alumni engagement, digital engagement, metrics, and more. His presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
We will also have a roundtable discussion on topics, such as Events, Database Management, Alumni & Advancement Coordination, Internships/ Mentorships, and Alumni Association & Volunteers.
Attached is a Google form that will serve as an RSVP. Please fill it out by February 13th so that we can plan the event in advance accordingly.
The 2022 Alumni Relations JAM will be a free virtual event. If you're not a member of the Korea Alumni Relations Association (KARA) Google Group, please send a message to sdias@chadwickschool.org. This group hopes to be a channel for sharing issues, questions, suggestions, announcements, and opportunities in our field here in South Korea.
Hope to see you all on Feb. 23rd.
Thank you, cheers,
2022 Alumni Relations JAM Planning Committee

What is the difference between “being anxious” and having an anxiety disorder? What can we do about the 634% rise in use of Mental Health America’s online tool for anxiety since the start of COVID-19? Why is there still so much fear and stigma in just talking to others instead of hiding online? What can each of us do to make it better and best engage in a full and happy life? The event will feature a viewing of the 56-minute film, followed by an informative panel discussion, led by Rachel Arnold- Assistant Principal/Director of Learning Support at Korea Foreign School with special guests Kirk Jackson, Pastoral Counselor Dwight School Seoul, Emily Evans -School Psychologist Korea International School, Kelli Sureck - Korea International School Elementary School Counselor, Monisha Agarwal Korea International School Middle School Counselor.
