May 2012 - William Stewart put on a great workshop about implementing Edmodo at the institutional level. Until now, Edmodo has mainly been used in the classroom, but Mr. Stewart showed his school, Saint Paul Preparatory School, how Edmodo could transform its communication and organization strategy. Today, attendees from EUCON and Seoul Foreign School spent 3 hours learning about the benefits and limitations of Edmodo, as well as the tips and tricks Mr. Stewart has learned over the last two years.
September 2012 - Vice principals from Seoul Christian School, BC Collegiate Canada, Canada Maple International School, Seoul International School, Dulwich College Seoul, Seoul Christina School, and Saint Paul Preparatory School met to discuss common discipline issues and create action plans for improved collaboration among international schools in Korea. During the meeting, we followed a structured agenda to identify the most common discipline issues we all face, and exchanged ideas about possible solutions. This will be an ongoing discussion! By the end of the meeting, we had created a list of resources needs and an Edmodo group (group code: "wo03yv") so that we can continue to add resources and share contact information into a shared database. We also decided that we could continue our conversations through Edmodo, but that meeting in person is a good way to exchange ideas and ensure progress.
