The Korea Council of Overseas Schools (KORCOS) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian organization of educators from overseas schools located in Korea. It is a professional development organization empowered by the collaboration and interconnectedness of its members. KORCOS is in constant watch of changes in the environment, technology and educational programs that impact the mentoring of every generation of learners. By being mindful of these changes, KORCOS believes that its programs can sustain real life learning.
To achieve its goals, the organization holds annual conferences, job-alike meetings and youth leadership institutes. KORCOS has at least 60 nationalities represented in its membership. Organizational governance is collaborative participatory, modeling service leadership in the accomplishment of its goals.
